Why Dolores?

Dolores Walker was born on September 13, 1922. She lived to be 98 and lived with her son, his wife, and her grandchildren.

Throughout her life, Dolores embarked on one adventure after another. She grew up during the Depression, found love in face of the second World War, and raised two generations of children.

For our final project, we wanted to explore Dolores’ stories and highlight several points of her life. To document her tales, we sat down with Dolores, created this site, and linked to previous projects that dive deeper into her past.
